Kleopatra

It is said that Kleopatra brought thousands of cats on the island to eradicate snakes. That is unproven, but still an interesting story that connects cats to our history. Cypriots and cats have had a long standing relationship dating back ten thousand years.

They are indeed everywhere. Always fascinated by cats and their different personalities both photographically but also personally.

In this series I show cats as the primary subjects making their way and adapting to the modern ways of living mostly inside cities.

A good portion of them always gets a treat after an image as a thank you.
